Home ensurance : Design of critical prototypes
The final designs are a
series of 13 objects which aim to provoke habitual changes in people.

1. Visitor count doormat
A counter embedded doormat which ensures that your visitors feel insignificantly welcome.

2. The Organised Entrance Door
A labelled entrance door which ensures easy of use for junk mailers.

3. Short talk Telephone
A normal landline telephone which ensures short concise phone calls and economy of use.

4. Volume Regulator
A wall mounted volume regulator which ensures ideal sound levels at home.

5. Argument control bookshelf
A volume sensitive bookshelf which ensures controlled sound levels for the arguing couples.

6. The Remote Family
A series of television remote controls which ensure non-addictive viewing with shared power.

7. The wireless neighbourhood sign
A sign for a wireless network availability outside the home which ensures instant popularity in the neighbourhood.

8. The signal grabbing photo frame
A photo frame in the bedroom which ensures that your mobile phone does not become a health hazard for you.

9. Bathroom timer
A bathroom door with time sensitive glass which ensures efficiency in bathroom usage.

10. The Organic Bin
A flowerpot bin which ensures respect for your trashcan.

11. The Fish/Flush Tank
A toilet with a fish tank which ensures care and sensitivity for your toilet.

12. The wireless ‘grab and run’ bag
A wireless signal grabbing bag which ensures that you steal networks with caution and efficiency.

13. The tall-legged table
A long table for the ‘yellow tape of belonging’ which ensures that the objects of restraint become a part of your life with ease.
